For two nights only, the iconic Tolarno Eating House & Bar will morph into a Balinese warung with Janet DeNeefe dishing up her Balinese favourites, Babi Guling, suckling pig. In-between bites, Janet will share her secrets of her favourite warungs with images along with performances of traditional Indonesian music.
Janet DeNeefe, Founder & Director of Ubud Food Festival and Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, has lived in Bali for three decades. Her memoir Fragrant Rice charts her love affair with Balinese food, culture and traditions. Her latest book is Bali: Food of My Island Home. She also owns Indus, Casa Luna Restaurant and Cooking School.
